JJ's Clubhouse and Bar 3858 Market - No transgendered, crossdressers, or transsexual allowed (except Lady Dawn) as per one of owners-Jeff (if gender on driver's license matches gender presented, you might be allowed in). NOT a supporter of the GLBT community. Tell your friends: don't go to this gay leather biker want-to-be bar. The Bears here are a real disappointment to the GLBT. Why Pridefest allows such a discriminatory group to participate each year is beyond me.

Bottleneck Blues Bar - Ameristar Casino St Charles a variety of music provided by live bands. Use unisex rooms in the casino.
Casa Loma Ballroom - 3354 Iowa Ave off Cherokee, Band music and dancing. Manager Terry and owner Pat are tg friendly. Best dance floor in St Louis. Two thumbs up!!!
Cafe Eau
- 212 N Kingshighway Chase Park Plaza Band music and Dancing. Security may object to using the ladies restroom on the main floor. Restrooms (men's and women's) are available for use on the second floor of the old hotel lobby, and are infrequently used in the evening.
Club Viva - 408 N Euclid Ave Central West End Latin music. Group dance lessons 8:30 to 9:30. Not the most open people, but still a lot of fun.
Dee's Place - North Broadway. Some TG's go there on Friday's, I have not be in.
Dorsett Inn - 12068 Dorsett near I 270 DJ music and dancing.
Generations 10709 Watson Rd and Lindberg in the Holiday Inn Hotel Wed. DJ golden oldies 60"s 70"s Friday and Saturday Various bands Cover on weekends after 8 and before 12. Use restroom around corner from the hotel lobby.
George's Route 66 - 7895 Watson Rd Neighborhood Bar and Grill. Bands and dancing on weekends.
Gerard's - 12240 Manchester Rd Neighborhood restaurant (excellent$$) and bar. Live music and dancing most weekends.
Harry's Downtown - 2144 Market West of Union Stationbandsand dancing. Starts around 10:30 $$
Helen Fitzgeralds - 3660 S Lindbergh Bands and Dancing on weekends. Mostly 20's something. I have been confronted by some bigoted young men here.
House of Rock - 5 Ronnies Plaza Sappington South County. band music and dancing.
Jacques - 400 S 14th Sheraton St Louis Center Band music and Dancing. Best not to go when hockey game is in town
JP's Corner - 11890 Gravois Rd Sunset Hills although management appears accepting, the customers are unaccustomed to transgender.
Update There are now several people that are more friendly. Wednesday evening draws a friendlier crowd that follows Mad Mainer and Jackie McCoy
Jimmy's on the Park - 706 Demun Across Clayton from St Mary's Hospital on DeMunn fine food, music, very friendly.
Margarita Mama's Restaurant and bar with band music. One of the few places in Westport plaza that definitely has a problem with transgendered using the restrooms., don't go there. There are plenty of other places. UPDATE --Closed
Nino's - 736 Westport Plaza Nino is accepting and friendly. Two man band lots of fun outside during nice weather can be hot.
The Phoenix - 3924 Lemay Ferry 1/2 block north of Lindberg. Management accepting. 20's and 30's patrons bands nice dance floor. Mostly young 20's. Will find some bigots here.
Panama Red's Cafe- 1909 Locust Downtown. Food, drink, and sometimes bands and dancing. Friendly mixed ages.
? Rascel's - 141 and Big Bend. Although we were pretty well accepted, I don't think I would recommend this bar.
Ritz Carlton - 100 Carondelet Plaza Downtown Clayton Various Jazz in grand lobby weekends $$
Savoy Banquet Center - 119 S Florissant Rd Lots of fun, nice people.
Shooters - 108 Meramec Valley Plz, Valley Park just off 141. I was surprised as to how friendly most everyone there was, but this is in redneck country.
Smitty's - 14876 Clayton is a nice friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar with really good food. Live bands and small dance area. Always lots of fun.
Syberg's - 2430 Old Dorsett Rd. near I 270 Various bands and music on weekends and some weekdays. Dance floor. Age varies depending on band. Somewhat of a sportsbar. also try Sybergs at 2211 market
? That One Place - Fenton A few very bigoted individuals were there the night I went. I wrote the owner and received a very polite and apologetic reply. I may try there again
Velvet - 1301 Washington St. DJ music and dancing cover, very friendly. Young group.
Vodoo Lounge - Harrah's Casino DJ music and dancing.
